Wellness-Lifestyle Coaching
Using the ancient science of AyurVeda and Western Herbology.

Vanessa's style of Wellness-Lifestyle Coaching is an integration of Western Herbology and AyurVeda. This style allows you to easily incorporate the necessary daily routines into our western lifestyle. When we find balance, we find health. The goal is to understand the client’s constitutional patterns and their biological individuality.  To get to the root of the imbalance and bring them back to wholeness.

AyurVeda, "the science of life",  exists to keep mankind healthy and teaches us to know ourselves on a deeper level. From an Ayurvedic perspective, disease cannot live in a perfectly balanced body, one where body and mind are working in harmony.

The roots of AyurVeda originated from the Indian sub-continent. This is a highly personalized system of healing that looks at the whole body (body, mind, & soul) and recognizes that you are a unique individual with a unique mixture of elements (air, ether, water, earth, & fire).  AyurVeda acknowledges that each individual's health requirements are ever changing, and aims at bringing the body gently back into balance by using opposite qualities. The asanas (postures) and pranayamas (breath work) used in Yoga (the sister science of AyurVeda), morning routines, what we take into our senses, and the foods and herbs we take in can all bring us in or out of balance.

AyurVeda is one of the most beneficial avenues in disease prevention. Creating a healthy foundation by addressing the intellectual, spiritual well-being, as well
as physical health, can bring us back into balance.

The consultation consists of two meetings.   The first meeting is to help determine the constitution and imbalance of the client, and the second is to discuss recommendations to assist in restoring balance.  $125

What brought her to Wellness Lifestyle Coaching:
Vanessa was first introduced to Wellness lifestyle coaching in her early 20's while working with her own coach Judi Simoni. She then learned about the concept of Ayurveda at Body Mind College in San Diego, CA. Ayurveda made such an impression on her that she knew she had to study this ancient practice.  Vanessa began her training at the CA College of Ayurveda where she has been certified as an Ayurvedic Health Educator and has attended lectures from Floracopeia.

Vanessa has blended massage and Ayurveda, becoming certified in the Ayurvedic Bliss Therapy and Body treatments also from the CA College of Ayurveda.  She uses her knowledge of Ayurveda to provide others with information that empowers them to make choices in their lives that can lead to greater balance and health. She also studies Integrative Herbology through the EverGreen Herb School.
